The History of Nero's Grill
During the 1960s & 70s, Green Hills’ favorite neighborhood bar and grill was the legendary Nero’s Cactus Canyon, run by my dad, Nelson “Nero” Griswold.
When I was growing up, Nero’s Cactus Canyon was the place to go. Folks visited Nero’s because they were treated like family. I constantly hear story after story of the fun times and great memories people had at the old Nero’s…

How they got engaged here…
& how they celebrated the special events in their lives with Nero’s.
Now, 30 years after my dad sold the original Nero’s, my wife and I created Nero’s Grill as a revival of that historic neighborhood hangout, right on the same piece of land in Green Hills.
We know your visit here at Nero’s will not just include a fabulous lunch or dinner but also provide an enriching and memorable experience you’ll want to share with your friends and family.
More than an excellent restaurant, Nero’s is almost a second home…
